Yep it's only hair, it doesn't have to be that way forever and it's the millenium. 30 years ago it might of been more of a talked about subject but these days it's just every day life. When I was her age I had the bottom of my hair died pink and blue streaks all over it. I know plenty of other girls my age that were'nt allowed to do that kind of stuff and ended up all the worse for it, feeling opressed and restricted and ended up rebelling. She's becoming a young lady so she needs to make the odd random decision like that to feel like she has some of the control. If she regrets it and thinks she looks stupid, all the better - she made a mistake and might consider less risky aesthetic choices in future!
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
No
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Nope.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
No, only green.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
May I ask why is this question for christians?
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
sure, why not?
hair is hair. there are far more important issues to deal with.
as a parent I like to pick my battles
blessings :)
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Eh, let her get it out of her system before she has to impress anyone at a job interview...
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Or purple, or blue...sure.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
I guess. There are worse things she could do.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?

Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
It's not that I'm a Christian when I answer "no". It's that I'm a mother that says "no". :) katiefish %26lt;%26gt;%26lt;
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
you mean like, a natural looking red or blood red? an unnatural looking red is just ugly as heck, regardless if you're christian or not. heck, why does being christian even matter in this question?
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Do you mean like crimson red or Ron Weasley red?
I don't think God cares much about hair color (having left it out of all the hundreds of biblical commandments), so you shouldn't.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
yes, if it was a natural red and not a neon red :)
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Agreed. Hair is hair. If you don't like it you can recolor it to her original color, or let it grow out. Not the end of the world.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Nope....but maybe highlights like on the side.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
If I had a daughter, absolutely. Teens need to be able to explore and learn. She will probably realize it is a mistake after she does dye her hair and will never do it again. Let it be a lesson learned. Unless she's worshipping Satan, don't worry and let her have a little more of the leash.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Its okay as long as they're not doing it out of rebellion. If they are doing it just because they'd like to, then that's alright.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
One day last summer my boys and I went to the salon for a family treatment. I walked out with purple hair, one son was bright red, and the other had tiger stripes. It's only hair. Know when to pick your battles and the rebellion is much less serious in the long run.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Yes, what the hell does Christianity have to do with a fifteen year old girl's decisions? No pun intended.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
I don't see a specifically Christian prohibition against this, since you addressed your question specifically Christians.
However, it would depend a lot on the shade of red, to me. Is it like bright fire engine red or a nice, natural looking red? 15 is pretty much time to start making your own decisions. If she can't practice that how, how's she going to fare when she's driving in a year or in college in 3?
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Yes
Why wouldn't any Christian allow this?

Well it depends on your views. My brother (who just turned 13) dyed his hair yesterday, and now it's light orange. My parents both said he could only do it once, but now they really like it. Don't let her dye the whole hair, just streaks. If she has dark hair it'll look good on her. But again, it all depends on your world views. She might hate it and never want to dye it again. But then again it might look really good on her and it'll boost her self confidence.

This is something that needs to be taken on a case-by-case basis. Try to talk to your daughter/son about the reasons why she wants to dye her hair red. Is this a peer-pressure thing, is she crying out for attention, is she feeling bored with her life? The real issue is understanding your daughter's heart, and her walk with God. If the condition of her heart needs to be addressed, and her desire to dye her hair is a symptom of this, then you may want to dissuade her. Try to ask her why she wants to, and talk with her/pray with her about how she is feeling. Remember, Jesus says "it is not what goes into a man which defiles him, but what comes from a man's heart." (paraphrase). Dying her hair, itself, will not defile her, but if she is struggling in her heart with certain sin, this could darken her spirit and lead her from God. Just talk to her and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to her Christ's mercy, understanding, wisdom and compassion. God Bless!
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
YES. I AM a christian.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
sure--why not?
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
I am not clear on hair coloring being an issue within the Christian faith. However, I think 15 is too young to dye ones hair, any color. It is good that at 15 a child is wanting to express themselves and their independence, but I would ask the child to wait until they were 18.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Of course.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
It depends on her reasons for doing so. You should ask her why she wants to do it, and if it is to express herself or something then you should let her do it.
Christians...would you let your 15 year old dye her hair red?
Yes, it is not a sin to dye your hair, just a fad.
However, I think dyeing your hair can be bad for your hair since people have sometimes lost their hair or developed health problems. I also think that it is best to be all you can be, and to be happy with what you are. Celebrate your own beauty!
The Biblical reference to "you cannot turn one hair white or black" is not specifically a rebuke against cosmetics. Matthew 5:36 This verse is about swearing an oath.
