TOTALLY! I have olive skin and i went for a blonde auburn, you can go any color. i dont like how dark reds look against my skin tone but its really all about what you like
since my hair is dark i had to lighten it first
i recommend seeing a stylist because if you are extremely picky about how your hair comes out it can be unwise to do it yourself
if you dont have the money for it, cause it is costly, you can do it at home, look up your local beauty schools because the students do it really cheap and ive never heard a case where someone walked away unhappy from a stylist still in school
but still if thats too expensive
you should use :
-clairol born blonde maxi ----%26gt; thats the link to see what it looks like

then whatever shade of red. just do some research online/ask a stylist
be prepared that its gonna fry your hair though so make sure you find out about deep conditioners and special shampoos
Should women with olive skin tones dye their hair red?
red looks good on anyone
Should women with olive skin tones dye their hair red?
no..i think chocolate brown :]
Should women with olive skin tones dye their hair red?
Yes, just make sure it is the right shade of red. Most skintones can have any color, but you need to get the shade right-- as in a cool red or a warm red. and how light or how dark. This is very important! For example, I look awful with warm brown or blonde and only can wear an ashy/cool brown or blonde. I think olive skin would look pretty cool with a burgundy color though. good luck!

I don't think so... If you want it to look natural, you will never get that result... Plus it might clash with your skin tone, I personally think very few people can pull off dyed hair and I think natural is best. Also, Brittany T, red hair does NOT look good on anyone.
Should women with olive skin tones dye their hair red?
yea, it would look pretty if it was the right shade of color
Should women with olive skin tones dye their hair red?
Probably not. Most women with naturally red hair are fair and freckled. if you do dye it you risk it looking fake and unnatural. but you never know. it just might work for you. you could try just adding some auburn, almost brown/red highlights in to just see how that works. if you love it you could get more or just take the plunge and dye all of it. you might find that it just isnt...you. try it! =D

olive skin will only look good with a burgundy shade of red. of course, this color will appear unnatural, but it can still appear flattering. Speak to your hairdresser for advice. Good luck!
