Yes. You can't help being gay just as much as you can't help what color hair you were born with or what color eyes. Being gay is NOT a choice just as heterosexuality is NOT a choice.

Hair color can be chemically altered. Many physical attributes can be surgically altered. But what hand a person naturally writes with is more socially accepted.

What's more is that handed-ness not only is more accepted, but there's about as much scientific proof that it's genetically predetermined as sexuality is. But I don't see protests against handed-ness!
