A color that looks good on just about anyone is brown. light or dark. don't try blonde it most likely won't work out. but what you could do is simply find the color you were before and dye your hair back because then you know that color works for you.

You'll probably have to strip it. Red is the hardest to get out, and if you just dye on top of it you run the risk of turning it orange. Trust me. I'm a blonde who used to have dark red hair. I had it professionally stripped, and they still couldn't get the reddish tint completely out.

whatever you do, DO NOT dye your hair blond after it is red! My aunt did this and her hair turned Green!! She tried do re-dye and it turned Orange! I suggest a darker color.
