I would suggest you think of the outfit you're going to wear and also the lipstick you have in mind. If you have to enhance your eyes then you need an eyeshadow that is intense depending on the color of dress you're wearing. As a make-up artist, i coordinate the outfit with the eyeshadow (not to say that if you're going to wear green dress to have on a green eye shadow) but there should be a similarities. Because it's going to be in the evening, you might want an eye shadow that is a little intense than your normal morning eyeshadow. You might also want to use a brownish eye liner (again depending on the color yo choose). To make your lips fuller just outline your lips (with a lip pencil)with a similar color of lipstick and after applying the lipstick add a lip gloss (clear color) to make the lips pop out.

Depends on what you have, but when I had red hair for a bit, i got the most compliments with shimmery grayish purple Shadow, smudgy black eyeliner, and pale nude color lipstick for dress up events. Good luck and have fun.

You should really play one feature up, so just the eyes or the mouth, both can look a bit ott.

As a guy I'd have to say that i look for the natural features in a woman, not what she is painted with, no offence meant. Be yourself and only enhance your natural beauty.

Because you have red hair, green eye make-up would look fantastic! Especially emerald green - hope you've got some. You want to try and go for a sultry look - green all over the eyelid and in the eye socket with some lighter shadow on your brow bone to highlight and really give definition. Then, using either a black liquid eyeliner or a pencil, draw a line as close to your upper lashes as possible and wing out at the edges to get that "cats eyes" look. Also smudge some eyeliner on your lower lids, close to the lashes to frame them - or, for a really seductive look, put the eyeliner inside the rim of your lower lid. Finally, put on loads of black mascara - 2 coats - and curl them first.

And because you'll be playing your eyes up so much, go for paler, more natural looking lips. If you have a lip liner in a natual colour then draw on outline just outside your natural lipline. Then fill in with a lovely pink gloss. But most of all, have fun whatever it is you're doing tonight!
